Your wedding day is approaching, and I know that a lot of you are probably on a budget, and trying to figure out where photography fits in in the grand scheme of things. I am here to encourage you to prioritize your photos. Besides your marriage, photos are one of the only things from your wedding day that will endure through time, and eventually be passed down as family heirlooms, and you do not want to just settle for decent and in-budget.
My approach to photos on your wedding day is that they should not consume your day. The day is not about the photos - the photos are about the day. I work with all of my couples in advance to form a timeline that will keep photos as streamlined as possible without being rushed, and that will maximize the amount of time I am there to yield the best photo opportunities, factoring in lighting, events of the day, and more.
I incorporate a mixture of posed and prompted photos into my posing for portraits. This will help get that more candid feel to your images, but I won't leave you wondering what to do with your hands or where you should be facing. All of my editing is vibrant and true to life to give your photos the most timeless feel possible.
I not only want to be a service provider, but also a friend. Your train needs fixing and there's no one around? Have no idea how to pin on your boutonniere and none of your groomsmen do either? I got you! When our relationship is more than just a working relationship, and we are able to trust each other and have fun together - that is when you will be able to let your guard down, let loose, and get some of the greatest photos. I truly am so invested in my couples and their love stories, and consider it a great privilege to be able to share them with those who follow me.
