Samantha entered a giveaway for a couples session on my Instagram account back 2 years ago when I was trying to portfolio build. They did not win, but a year later, she reached out asking if I did maternity photos. The answer would normally be “no,” because I had never done them before, but I just had a really strong feeling that I wanted to work with her and her husband, Christien. I didn’t know why then, but now I do.
These 2 (and now their little baby Finnick ) are the sweetest people ever. They are clients that feel like friends, and every time I’ve gotten to meet up with them has been an absolute joy. They remind me why I love to do what I do.
This October, we celebrated 8 months of Finnick being in the world, and honestly? Some of my favorite photos ever.
