McKenzie and Austin were brought together in their college days at South Dakota State and have been together ever since! After getting engaged right before the world went wild in March of last year, it was FINALLY time to get these two married last week!
With how crazy dry of a summer we have had in Minnesota this year, it always seems to rain on a day that I am shooting a wedding - so far 4/10 of my weddings this year have had absolute downpours all day, which isn't many, but when you think about how we've maybe gotten rain 10 times this summer, it's pretty significant 🤣 Anyways, back to last Saturday - Austin was telling me before their first look as it started raining that his parents had a tornado on their wedding day all those years ago. We joked and tried to make the best of the situation by saying “well it could be worse, let’s be glad there’s no tornado!!” WELL… cue everyone’s cell phone blaring during the reception that we were under a tornado warning and it sounding like a literal freight train outside 🤪
